About Aija Candles

Hi, we're Aija and Tuan. A couple that met on Instagram, fell in love across continents (from Latvia to Canada) and got married.

With Aija's love for quality goods and minimal designs, she ventured into the candle world. The intent of our candles is to create a cozy atmosphere while providing a gentle scent that won't triggering headaches.

By selecting only the best and natural ingredients we could find, our candles were a lot softer on the nose while lasting 3x more than a traditional candle.

As busy as running your own small business is (and now having a little one), we’re advocates of a slow lifestyle and being as present as possible. It’s really the simple moments that make life memorable.

Our candles are made with organic soy wax, premium fragrances and lead-free wicks for a cleaner burn. 

None of the nasty stuff like pesticides, phthalates, parabens, lead or dyes.

Our candles are Latvian inspired, organic and always hand-poured with love in small batches in London, Ontario.
