Candle Care

A little care goes a long way.

To get the best burn from your candle, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each use. This helps create a cleaner, more even burn and keeps the flame from getting too large.

On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing the candle. This helps prevent tunnelling and encourages an even burn throughout the life of the candle.

For the safest and best experience:

  • Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn.
  • Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.
  • Burn on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep away from drafts and flammable materials.
  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or relighting.
  • Stop burning when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

A well-loved candle should burn beautifully from first light to last.
